I have made a unified menu, which didn't take quite as long as I feared
and probably does work better for me. It seems to function okay, but I'm
not quite sure whether it's 100% there. Although it's kind of obvious,
it's only when I got down to editing it that the divide between static
and dynamic content really hit home, so, for example, you can't have the
daily and weekly schedules together because the weekly schedules are
indivisible from the per station programme lists (what iPlayer proper
gives you and what I've called "Stations and Weekly Schedules"). As
interest has been shown, I've attached it to this message.

I have some reservations about that! It's one thing tinkering on my own
and I'm happy to share what I've done, but I'd like to consider the
ramifications of providing an online, permanently available file because
of the possibilities for problems when the plugin is updated. I don't
know under what circumstances a re-download of the opml file is made. Is
it automatic on update, on server start or is it manual only? My concern
is that it will need to be updated in sync with plugin updates and that
mismatches where users may update the opml file but not the plugin or
the reverse could cause problems. As I don't understand the mechanisms
well enough, I think it might be premature. This is all, of course,
making the assumption that it will be of interest to anyone other than
me!
