Thanks for the reply ... I've tried the networking buffer settings
(500/2500) with both encryption on and off.  No effect.

I used wireshark ages ago - found it a bit complex to use (... and now a
lot older and dimmer these days).  I'll check it out.  May require
advice on what to do.

I'm not sure I'd spend 100 or 200 dollars just to test ...
