Peculiar as in technically odd - the whole socketwrapper workaround is because MS couldn't implement pipes correctly so the standard Perl function used in Linux to create the transcoding processes doesn't work on Windows. MS also then tweaks their pipes implementation every so often so they work just a little bit different.
To get the programs reliable and predictably responsive used to take a lot more effort on Windows. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104672 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
