I'll be passing a CFC with a number of the methods I use on House of Fusion over to Adam soon. I'm a little tied up contemplating spending an extra $200 for a windows based phone over a Treo but once I'm done deliberating he'll be getting it.
Methods include:
threading a parent/child collection of data
finding and setting the parent of an added message
reading a message from disk as well as from pop
email address validation
email address parsing
header parsing
'true' sender info parsing
other tools

These should help with Adams plans for an archive and add features that he hasn't (maybe) thought of yet. Hopefully, it'll also solve problems in archiving that he hasn't come across yet either. :)

Folks,

Thanks to Charlie and some good guidance from Michael Dinowitz, I have just
begun archiving the Plum Discussion List, and am in the process of getting
the past messages imported as well.

I'll let you all know when everything's completely in place.

Respectfully,
