Adam, I will be glad to test the installer on solaris. We are not on cfmx 6.1 as our server software yet but if all we need to currently test is the project wizard I can probibaly test that for you.
(We should be up to cfmx 6.1 in a week or two on our dev server though) Thanks, Frederick Adam Churvis wrote:
I need Dave Carabetta and other *nix users to contact me offlist so you can quickly pre-test the Private Beta 2 Release on your particular flavor of *nix before we release it to the rest of the Beta testers list. It's really just the New Plum Project Wizard we need you to test through the point of launching the generated website. We need you to throw bad paths, good paths, and unusual paths at the Wizard and see if it prevents the bad ones, accepts the good ones, and tolerates the unusual ones. Everything from spaces in path names to forward/backward slashes to UNC paths need to be tested on *nix servers. If you can quickly run it through its paces today (Saturday) then please email us offlist or call us at 770-446-8866 to make arrangements.
