I do not offer my opinions often, as I constantly remind myself that the
abilities of this group far exceed those of my own, but...

Definition of 'Plum supported hacks' has to be: Those modifications which must
be analyzed and eventually documented by Adam and David on their own time.
Although I am only beginning my learning experience with Plum, this seems
one-sided at best to expect on a continuing basis. They (Adam and David, that
is) have already voiced their intent to make version changes in the future with
enhanced abilities based on the feedback received from this great group. This
is reasonable. Plum has evolved, and hopefully will continue to evolve. This
listserv is a great way for developers to let the guys know what is needed, and
to find issues with the current version. But perhaps we could use another layer
of support.

Would it be possible to have a Plum online site where successful 'hacks' or even
minor helpful enhancements could be documented by any authorized user. Custom
cfc's could be loaded by the user for the good of everyone. In this way, we
could all benefit from other experienced developers who might find alternative
means to specific ends. There could also be a place for Adam and David to
comment should they wish on the logic--both pro's and con's--of the approach.

This is just an idea, and perhaps not needed nor desired. Would it ever be
used? Your thoughts, please?
