Thanks Jeff, that works. Guess that needs to be added to the VTM then.
I'm confused. It's there. Are you using HomeSite+? How are you checking
for the available attributes for each tag? That attribute is available
to me, if I right-click inside the tag and choose Edit Current Tag, I
get a tag editor that has the Order By clause as the last attribute
available on the editor. Isn't that what you see? You should also see
the attribute in the popup list for code completion if you click just to
the left of the closing tag bracket and then hit the spacebar.

Hi Dan,
There is an orderByClause for that tag, so you should be able to specify
by adding that attribute to the tag, i.e., orderByClause="n_pageGroupID
ASC"

Thanks.
Is there a way to tell the custom tag I want the options sorted in
n_pageGroupID order, and not in c_name order which is what is being
displayed?
<cf_DisplayFilteredSelect
parentTable="tblPageGroup"
primaryKey="n_pageGroupID"
primaryKeyType="integer"
foreignKey="n_PageGroupID"
displayColumn="c_name"
displayColumnType="varchar(50)"
required="Yes"
label="Page Group">

All previous issues are being addressed internally here, I assure you.
I
believe David has addressed all items that can be addressed until the
Release Candidate. Your feedback has been extremely helpful, Dan, as
are
your ideas.
We're going to go over the other items in this email tonight because
we're
putting together the action items list for the Plum Release Candidate.

Adam,
Have you had a chance to look into the issues I uncovered last week? I
can
enumerate them in a separate email if you wish.
I really got heavy into PLUM over the past couple of weeks, which has
really
helped me understand it more. One of the biggest things I can think of,
and
I don't know if it is do-able at this point, but would it be possible
to
have a form tag, not based on AEDV, where we could then nest the other
form
tags that you make available? Maybe the generic form tag can have the
AEDV
tags nested underneath it if that provides any additional
functionality.
Potential problem's I have not previously disclosed:
---------------------------------------------------
1) there might be a problem with <cf_DisplayDeleteCheckboxInList> when
no
records are returned from the query.
2) I am going to try and reproduce this one, but I did a master detail
form
set that had a child and 2 parents, and I had problems to which forms
were
linked to for the relationship. I had to change some of them to
straighten
it out, but might have been something I did. Let me try it again and I
will
let you know. It is based on the DB I already sent you.

If you've been Beta testing Plum on Blackstone, please email this list
the
details of the problems you've encountered so we can *squash them
bugs*!
Also, if you've been Beta testing Plum on BlueDragon 6.2 Beta, let us
know
those problems, too.
Thanks! :)
