The CFDJ awards are simply a popularity content based on whether or not you recognize a company or its product, so it's really a marketing award, not an award based on quality.
For example, we only seat a couple dozen trainees a year at most, whereas even the worst small certified training center has to seat hundreds or it won't stay in business, so who do you think "wins?" As for Plum, it's not even on most people's radars because we don't hawk it, and there is a lot to the product so many don't take enough time to delve into it. So again the numbers are relatively small compared to something like Fusebox or Mach-ii (which actually do very little with respect to the overall needs of an application), so they're not that difficult to pick up. Thanks for the kudos, though. Sincerely appreciated! :) Respectfully, Adam Phillip Churvis Member of Team Macromedia Certified Advanced ColdFusion MX 7 Developer http://www.ProductivityEnhancement.com Download Plum and other cool development tools, and get advanced intensive Master-level training: * C# & ASP.NET for ColdFusion Developers * ColdFusion MX Master Class * Advanced Development with CFMX and SQL Server 2000 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tim Blankenship" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Plum Email List" <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, July 27, 2005 8:21 AM Subject: [plum] CFDJ awards Why didnt PLUM or the CFMX Masters Class get nominated?
