All the tutorials are for SQL Server 2000. There are fifty tutorials which
took quite a long time to create and perfect. To duplicate them for Oracle
we would first have had to also build a new stored procedure generator and
component generator for Oracle (not an easy thing to perfect), then recreate
and perfect the tutorials themselves. We estimated two months effort for
this alone, plus another two weeks for the Access tutorials (which can't
work with stored procedures anyway).

So it was either release when we did or wait another two and a half months.

You can pick up SQL Server 2000 Developer Edition for under fifty bucks at
Buy.com, it works on non-server Windows OSes, and it's a great addition to
your toolbox.
