Can we consider a js delete confirmation dialog for the delete forms as
a possible ER for a future version maybe? I like what you did for the
delete checkboxes on a list form. I would envision this being enabled
by an attribute in the DeleteForm tag: confiirmation=yes/no (defaults
to no)
My thinking is that users in Windows database apps are used to seeing
these little confirmation dialogs when they delete a record. It is not
a full-page form, it is a small confirmation dialog. the delete form
and view form look about the same in most cases, with the exception that
the delete form has the submit button. More than one of my users have
remarked that they are expecting to see that additional confirmation
before they delete something. Especially where there is a multi-level
cascade delete happening.
It's such a small request, really... ;)
