I didn't try Firefox, simply because I'm offsite today and the machine I have access to doesn't have FF installed. I plan on giving it a shot later as soon as I return to the office.

I'm assuming it will work because according the htmlArea.com site v3 is supposed to support Mozilla/FF browsers...I don't know if anything is required to make it work w/ Mozilla or if it does right "out of the box", but since I do use Firefox primarily I definitely hope to get this working.

I didn't do any extensive testing but just plopping it into the Plum app
seemed to work. I was able to change and edit content using the v3 Beta.

Okay-- but we'll still have to wait until the next release to incorporate it.

Who knows... you might be able to just plop it into an existing Plum app as long as the calling structure is the same. Why don't you give it a try and let us know how it works?

Is Plum going to update HTMLArea to v3 when beta testing is done? I

think

they are on RC3 right now, the new version is supposed to add support

for

Mozilla/FF as well as IE. That will be a big plus in my book.

Plum is no longer in Beta; it's a final release now.

We're going to look at HTML V3 for V1.1, along with other WYSIWYG

editors.
