Okay, I figured it out—how I broke my plum.   A step or two back in the Tutorial when I enumerated the status list, I entered 0 for inactive, 1 for active, and 2 for special order.   If I now try to Add an Item and select Active or Special Order, I get the …invalid data… error message. But if I select Inactive it goes in just fine.  Because 0 = inactive is a valid attribute+value pair (I’m guessing)   I’ll go back and “fix” my enumerated status codes and I bet my plum will be good enough to eat—again.         Dan Kaufman       An Elephant Never Forgets [EMAIL PROTECTED]
