I was just discussing this with someone on CF-Talk. I have built 6 apps with Plum, have three in the works. However, only one of them is a public facing site (conference registration) and it has been taken down until conference registration begins again next year.

I think the folks that build a lot of intranet/extranet sites and internal applications have picked up on Plum because of the ease of use when working with data and forms and the built in access control.

Eventually we will see more and more public facing sites, but I agree with Adam, it's out there but under the radar at this point.

Jeff

You know, it's funny. We don't keep track of people who download Plum
because it's anonymous and you don't have to register (unlike Betas), so I
was thinking that perhaps not that many people were actually using Plum in
production.

So David and I go to CFUNITED, and we're hearing from people who have really
gotten into Plum in a big way. Then I was in a meeting with a client last
week, and one of the developers on the team casually mentioned, "Oh, I just
finished building my fifth site using Plum," which made me smile and get all
squishy inside.

Plum is building a good number of sites, I'm sure -- I just don't know what
that number is. I'm not worried about Plum's popularity; I just care about
its functionality and ease of use by developers.

Once we eliminate a few issues from Plum like the whole alias thing (I hate
it), the custom tag path issue on shared servers (a problem with the
ColdFusion product itself that we're working around using a new piece of
software we're about to release), and a couple others, Plum will be much
easier to use and customize.

Kevin,

Did you check Productivityenhancement.com? Not sure if Adam has that there
yet, but that site is created with PLUM. Some of us on the lists have
created intranet apps with it, but not sure about public sites.
