We were one of the only houses in our area to sustain substantial damage. My neighbor had a small tree fall on her storage barn, but we were plastered. It's going to be a couple of weeks until we're back to normal.
Turned out that one of the huge pine trees in our back yard had a conjoined trunk. Didn't notice any problem with it in eleven years in this house, then Ivan's winds blew it right apart and onto my roof. We'll be back to work on Plum starting on Monday or Tuesday.
