No sorry's needed Adam, I understand. I'm not necessarily seeing the big
picture. I agree that sometimes forcing someone to do a manual step keeps
the process *visible* which promotes understanding.

We won't be adding this feature because of the potential problems it could
cause for people. It's one of the reasons why we specifically require a few
considered steps before Plum begins to overwrite anything.

Sorry. :(

Subject: [plum] Save and Generate

"Save the project file and re-generate the code (you should know the drill
by now)."

I wondered, the "Generation Reminder" that pops up when one clicks the Save
icon (yes I know I can turn it off)

Step 2 which seems to occur 99% of the time (at least so far) is to then
click on File, Generate Code, OK

Could a Check box prompt be added to this Reminder window, something like:

"Run Generate Code onSave?"

By checking this box the Wizard would then auto-Run File, Generate Code and
deliver up the Confirm Generation flyout. Whenever you click the Save icon.

This option could be added to Plum IDE Preferences.

Just an idea respectfully submitted,

Dan Kaufman
