The behavior you're expecting was in a previous build of the IDE.  We had removed it due to concerns about users automatically deleting data.  However, after some more review and discussion, we've decided to put the automatic cascade back in for ease of use.  Note that the automatic cascade will only apply to choosers; deleting a customer, for instance, will not automatically delete his sales orders.

Just noticed this one…

 

If I have a form with a chooser, I can’t delete any records where things have been added without first editing the record and removing the assigned items. This may be intended behavior as a safety device, but the error message may need to be tweaked to instruct the user to remove the associated records first.

 

Does this make sense?
