God, I hope my earlier message didn't sound terse. I re-read it this
morning and thought that some might construe it to be terse, so I thought I
would follow up.

Just to elaborate a little further about limitations, there are a few other
things that Plum won't handle by design, in order to make the rest of
Plum -- the mainstream things -- either easier to understand and maintain in
the generated code or possible in the first place.

For example, filtered selects and choosers require that certain keys in
related tables be simple rather than compound (i.e., single-column rather
than multi-column). This isn't always going to be the case with everyone's
database (it certainly wasn't on the most recent Plum project I did), so
we'll have to handle those relationships using handcrafted code and
controls, but the rest of the application can be straight Plum.

Remember that Plum is a set of tools you use to craft an application from
beginning to end, but it isn't the only tool you'll use along the way, and
it doesn't entirely replace handcrafting.

If any of Plum's limitations are of particular concern, please let us know
so we can discuss it for the next release. We really do discuss each and
every concern thoroughly and give each full weight come decision time.
