Pleas help, I may have run into a brick wall. Had the following table:
HOURS hoursFor plumUser.UserID(fk) hoursEnteredBy PlumUser.UserID(fk) ReportDate DateTime Job Job.JobId(fK) Start Interger lunchstart Integer Now I figured out I had to change the above and I did. I changed hoursEnteredBy to varchar(80) with no relationship. I decided I can use session to insert hoursEnteredBy and then filter the view by that value. i.e. session.PlumUser.email will always be the correct value and then I can filter on the varchar value of the field for a given user for view or edit. And for edit, hoursEnteredBy should not be edited anyway. But after these changes, I am still having a problem with "Duplicate output alias 'PlumUser_Email' ". The only thing I can come up with is that since the Jobs table also has a foriegn key relationship with the PlumUsers table, it is creating two table alias' for each field in the plum users table. Please tell me this is not true...and if it is how do I fix it or fool it. Thank you thank you thank you for your help, Mark Fuqua ********************************************************************** You can subscribe to and unsubscribe from lists, and you can change your subscriptions between normal and digest modes here: http://www.productivityenhancement.com/support/DiscussionListsForm.cfm **********************************************************************
