Description: We are seeking a contract developer with strong experience in developing large-scale Cold fusion applications. We are interested in developers with demonstrable skills who have a good understanding of CFMX components and custom tags, SQL 2k, DHTML, cross-browser compatibility, XML and version control. The candidate should be familiar with best practice procedures for coding for stability and performance. We are not just looking for someone who knows how to solve a problem; we require the solution itself to be the right one as it applies to the application as a whole. The candidate should have a thorough understanding of the development life cycle including requirement gathering, documentation and testing. The candidate will have first hand experience of creating/maintaining ColdFusion components and Custom Tags. Familiarity with PLUM is a huge plus. XML integration with ColdFusion is a huge plus.
