Beyond Compare is a utility that Jeff Fleitz recommended to people on this
list a little while ago, and today I had my first opportunity to try it. We
bought a license within a couple of minutes of first using it. It was a
true "Oh My God" moment.
We have all the WinDiff-type utilities and source control and versioned
backup and such, but Beyond Compare was the missing link we've needed all
along. This is the finest file- and directory-comparison utility I've ever
seen, and I don't see how you could possibly make anything faster, that's
for sure.
I'll never boot WinDiff ever again.
