Hi Anne,

I am attaching a copy of a modified PlumUserList.cfm template, so you will see a familiar example.  I use nested search forms in all my lists now, so this isn't the default template, but it is easy enough to follow.

The idea is that you have to alias your custom query column names as 'tablename_fieldname' in order for this to work.  Take a look at the custom query at the top of the page to see what I mean.  Then all you should have to do is use the query attribute (see line 11).

This column aliasing is going away in the next version early next year, as it has caused a lot of confusion, so be patient.

There is also a Plum KB article called 'Implementing Sort Orders in DisplayList With Custom Queries' that explains how to expand your sort menu, that you might want to refer to.

If you don't get the attachment let me know and I will mail it to your directly.

Does anyone have an example of how to use a Custom Query with DisplayList?  I've been battling with this for awhile and keep getting various errors which is a good indication that I'm not doing something right.

Thanks so much,
