1. From my understanding, it's Windows only.  And only compatible with MS Access, MS SQL Server, or Oracle.

2. I don't think so... sigh

3. Haven't used Adalon, but from what I've heard and read it's more for larger projects/businesses, has a long/hard learn curve, and used to be expensive (I think); however, now from their website it looks like they have released their final release (for free) and will no longer support the product.  Support for PLUM is pretty good, but doesn't need much since it's so well documented.  I'm wrapping up a project with it now that would have taken me at least 3 times as long writing from scratch.

hope this helps,

Aaron

ps - love the Einstein quote!

I just signed up for this list as I'm somewhat interested in the Plum
product.

1. Is there anyone using it on Linux? Will it only work with MSSQL or
can it be put in to work with MySQL.

2. Is there a archives so I don't have to ask every question that
someone asked last week?

3. How does this compare with Adalon? I'm looking at that also.

Thanks.
