Ah. Thanks to both for your answers. I'll pre-process the input then -
it's just a matter of removing all occurrences of the regex \\\n\s*.
Usually when I get the urge to do something outside lex/yacc I assume
it's just me not knowing how to use them properly, so that's why I
asked.
David: strings aren't a problem because there aren't any :) It's all
arithmetic expressions and simple control flow statements.
