This bug causes my scanner to fail because characters are not being ignored that need to be.  So it's more than just emitting an annoying WARNING message.

I would like to see the fix so that I could check to see if ply3.0 then works or not for me.  The rc2 version does not (even ignoring the WARNING).

regardles I have following rule defined
