I need to put out some kind of PLY-3.2 release in the coming weeks to address some issues with PLY-3. One issue that has come to my attention is that the change in signature calculations apparently breaks PLY on IronPython (due to the lack of the binascii module). So, I'm probably going to have to revert back to MD5. This bizarre problem with loading parsetab files on Jython is also a concern. If anyone else has issues with the current PLY-3.1 release, it would be good to get them into the issue tracker. I'll try to put out an update in the coming weeks (probably after PyCon however).
