hello all,
following my precedent post, i'm wondering if it really works?
as i said previously, i've added powernow from frkit on the latop and it
displays:
henry at delljm:~$ pfexec powernowadm 3
  State MHz Watts Volts
      0 1733 27.0 1.356 (current)
      1 1333 21.0 1.212
      2 1067 17.0 1.100
      3 800 13.0 0.988 (new)

but others tools/commands never show this new frequency:
henry at delljm:~$ kstat -m cpu_info -s current_clock_Hz
module: cpu_info instance: 0
name: cpu_info0 class: misc
        current_clock_Hz 1729084651

henry at delljm:~$ kstat -m cpu_info -i 0 -s implementation
module: cpu_info instance: 0
name: cpu_info0 class: misc
        implementation x86 (GenuineIntel 6D8 family 6 model 13
step 8 clock 1733 MHz)

henry at delljm:~$ kstat -m cpu_info -i 0 -s supported_frequencies_Hz
module: cpu_info instance: 0
name: cpu_info0 class: misc
        supported_frequencies_Hz 1729084651

In fact, who is right? The command tzmon.d (*) shows that the
temperature has fall slighty (from 62C to 42C but went up to 55C)

thanks in advance for help,

gerard
