Hi All-
This message is to serve as an announcement that the two new
projects recently approved have been instantiated, and there is a new
email alias for the community's use.
The Storage Power Management and Power Management Usability
Interfaces projects are now ready for use and comment. Both of these
projects can be found on the PM Community main page. Feel free to
visit the projects, and make comments not only on the page contents,
or to the projects themselves. Contribution requires that you become
a project observer.
With these new projects, we also have a pm-dev at opensolaris.org.
This alias is intended for developers to converse about projects,
code, bugs, or other issues directly relating to implementation. Both
the Storage PM and PMUI projects will be using this alias for exchange
of information. If you are a person expecting to contribute to the
evolution of power management facilities in OpenSolaris, please
subscribe to this alias. Like the pm-discuss list, a 'Subscribe' link
can be found in the PM Community 'Discussions' page. Subscription
requests should come after affiliation with at least one of the
projects.
