Hello,

problem more or less as described in the subject line. This is an Ultra
20 M2, running svn_103. I have enabled suspend-to-RAM by putting the
line

S3-support enable

in /etc/power.conf, and then run pmconfig and then restarted hal.
uadmin 3 21 returns 0, but if I try to suspend, either by clicking the
suspend button in the gnone-panel, or by running uadmin 3 20 or even
uadmin 3 22 (!) the system tries to suspend but then hangs there:
screen blanks out and monitor goes on standby, fans keep going (don't
slow down), green light steady on. The only thing I have in
/var/adm/messages is:

Dec 10 21:36:06 valis genunix: [ID 535284 kern.notice] System is being suspended

and that's it. Nothing (keyboard, mouse, pressing power button) wakes
it, and I have to power off and on.

How do I go about trying to understand what happens? I can of course
post more information. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Ettore
