It seems this does not work if Im not using a brand Sun/Oracle x86 server.
I used the above command on a X4170, X2xxx without any problems.
Implementing BMC for notebooks would be overkill
and difficult to maintain. I'm pretty certain the
tzmon driver already gathers APCI _TMP data. Perhaps
we just need a project to make this info available in
user space (assuming the notebook BIOS makes it available).
