Afaik, s2ram does not support do only run the suspend quirks without doing a suspend/hibernate by itself. Also pm-utils does not use the hal-info directly, but relies on hal to be called with the appropiate parameters to know, which quirks should be run. The suspend/hibernate can then be initiated via the dbus interface of hal (hal-spec.html#interface-device-systempower in the specs). Regards, Till
