Hello everyone,

Paolo Cavallini from Faunalia asked me if it would be possible to have
on the p.mapper homepage also links to companies that are providing
technical and commercial support for p.mapper. I set it up at

http://pmapper.sourceforge.net/support.shtml

I also added a PostGIS layer for it that is visible on the demo sites
for pm 1.1.0. For both currently only Faunalia is listed.

If anybody of you would like to be also listed on the homepage as
support provider, please tell me. The same, if you would like to be
included in the map layer for support providers or the one for p.mapper
users (currently empty and therefore not added still).

To make my life easier when adding this information, I attached a
template for the HTML table and the SQL commands for adding the info to
the PostGIS tables (the provided coordinates should be in lat/lon). So
please use these if you would like to be included.

Sorry for the users outside Europe. I will have to check if I can get
freely available country data for the world, so I could have a second
browser displaying the whole world if necessary.

Greetings, Armin

Hi Dennis-Jan.
I also agree that p.mapper, and more generally freeGIS, are superior in many
respect to proprietary software. I'm quite glad of your proposals, and I wish
we can cooperate to improve p.mapper even more.
So please stay tuned on the mailing list!
All the best.
