Luca, thanks for the offer. In principal my main idea was to have a basic layout with very few table definitions and the rest via DIV's. With some better combination of absolute and relative positioning than currently.
Alternatively a fully DIV based solution (as it is - mainly - currently) is also very welcome. It should allow easy positioning and dynamical moving of DIV objects. Especially I am interested in having just a config setting that allows a choice between having the map <div> resizing when resizing the window size is changed or just the legend/tioc (as it is currently). Also the style definitions for 'padding' needed to taken into account. My main problem was always to have the correct values for top/left etc. of the zoombox. I was struggeling around with offsets and so forth. If you could find a good solution that does not always need a rewriting of the zoombox.js that would be great. My idea is to provide sample map.phtml files that have various positionings but can be based on the same zoombox.js settings. So if you would like to contribute for the version 2, you're really welcome. I would be happy if I can leave behind the whole things with frames and just maintaining bug fixes for version 1.
