Hello Armin/rest,

As I mentioned some time ago, there was some need for a new tool to
administer all the different mapfiles and ini files used
in our organisation and probably also in others. So after some coding and
testing we have come up with the following tool.

What does the mapperfile Manager do for you:

* Provide an easy way of managing a (large) number of mapfiles all
containing (part of) a set of layers. This way if a layer should change it
changes in all mapfiles

* Provide an easy way of having (semi)-group specific ini files. Ini options
have default values which can be overwritten
in the department specific settings.

What doesn't it do:

* Provide user/group management for the ibuildings extention of pmapper.

* Everything else not mentioned above.

For detailed information please read the README and INSTALL file in the doc/
directory.

If there is any question drop me a line on rekkebusNOSP at Mgmail.com (remove
all capital letters (NOSPM))
