thanks for the offer. I made already some tests with a wiki system. In 
principal I wanted to wait with its final setup until I finally decide 
to rent another server (stand-alone instead of shared) and move the site 
to it. But before things get split up, I put it online yesterday night. 
The server might not always be blazingly fast, but it should be acceptable.

I added some parts of the base documentation. The navigation items etc. 
are still not adapted, just the default mediawiki settings. But it's 
already possible to add the rest of the docs, making comments, etc.

For editing one has to create an account and log in. The browser needs 
cookies activated and in the login page one needs to check 'Remember me'.
