Here is a more specific detail about the multiple queries that I am looking

have almost made the interface ready as can be seen. I need the
connectivity, like which is the file that needs to be invoked and what are
the parameters that need to be passed inorder to achieve my goal.
I have made a separate php file that contains all the interface related
tools. Now is it possible to make a normal SQL query through pmaaper on
PostGIS layer, if yes which javascript need to be invoked and what is the
format in which the query string needs to be passed???
e.g. SELECT * FROM <lyr_name> WHERE <field1 > #### > OR <field2 < #### >
Is there any involvement of json string which is used to format the query
output if I am not mistaken !
The map.phtml file that I modified and added a php file

In the on submit event which is the function that should be called? Is it
the *createSearchItem**(**param**) *or is it the *submitSearch**() *method
that will be invoked.
