I have p.mapper's demo working on a CentOS5 virtual (VMware server) host. I want to change the p.mapper demo to display my own map.
My *.map file produces output as expected when I run shp2img. Does the documentation tell me what p.mapper configuration settings are needed to substitute my *.map and shapefiles? I tried just renaming the default/pmapper_demo.map and then replacing it with my own using that name, but I sense there is more revision needed than just inserting a (hopefully) valid *.map file. Can anybody help straighten out my senior-citizen logic?!!!! TIA.
