Armin-

Follow up on this problem. When switching to pmapper 3.2, we discovered a
file with erroneous data in it that apparently IE is able to deal with, but
causes problems in Firefox. The problem is in ./incphp/js_locales.php.
Firefox reports the following error:

>> Invalid character! "// ARRAY FOR ANNOTATIONS". Line 1.
./incphp/js_locales.php.

If you look at the file in a "windows" text editor, there's nothing there.
But in a unix editor (e.g. vim) the bogus characters show up. I delete
these, and the application works fine again. This was the case with the
pmapper3.1 version as well. In fact, I just checked the 3.2-beta3 version
off of Sourceforge and the error is still in there.

Armin-

Well, our fix for this problem was to use Pmapper3.2 beta. Apparently it's
been resolved. No action needed further on this.

Subject: [pmapper-users] no query in Firefox with Pmapper3.1

We're using pmapper 3.1 and it works great in IE but with Firefox, the query
function does nothing. No errors. No display. No popup. Nada. Checked the
Apache/PHP error logs and nothing there either. Everything else
works/displays just fine. I tried changing the infowin setting in
config.ini to 'window' or 'frame'. There a window pops up, but is completely
empty-nothing there.

Any suggestions where the problem might be?

Matt
