i would just guess that the offset parameters for the map div element 
are not calculated correctly, at least for IE that is a bit weird 
anyway. It's difficult to say anything where. I would suggest starting 
with a default p.mapper and changing step by step the layout, and after 
every step verify it works with IE and FF (don't forget to force-reload 
the application to avoid old files in cache). you could also try if a 
newer version of the jquery dimension plugin will solve your problem.
