Hi Armin i had written earlier concerning the zoom to country oy polygon functionality,i must thank you for the prompt reply.
i tried loading the the zoom function through url these were my urls http://localhost:8080/pmapper/map.phtml?&zoomLayer=somaliaunited&zoomquery=reg...@1@somalil...@1@1 http://localhost:8080/pmapper/map.phtml?&zoomLayer=somaliaunited&zoomquery=reg...@1@puntl...@1@1 http://localhost:8080/pmapper/map.phtml?&zoomLayer=somaliaunited&zoomquery=reg...@1@southcent...@1@1 i think the functionality would do fine,however i noticed a behavior which i dont know if it can be corrected,the map never goes to the full extent the maximum extent is within the extents of the selected polygon. i would highly appreciate help with coming up with the plugin you were talking about....like the map selector.I currently have three regions to choose ffrom and they shouldnt go beyond six.
