Valerio, You could try to change the buffer value for selected objects in your config file to a more convenient extent in <pointBuffer>50</pointBuffer> (if your layer is a point layer) or change the parameter <shapeQueryBuffer>0.02</shapeQueryBuffer> (if not a point layer)
