I don't experience this - it doesn't take 2 saves but 1 save - if I change the PTV and save the page, the pagelist is immediately updated and contains the page I just modified. It is beyond my understanding how it is possible that on the same page, it works for me and it doesn't work for you. :-) Can you see in the page history how many times I edited the page? I only edited it once to set the current value of PTV -- and when I view the page, I see the correct pagelist. (I just did this three times with 3 different values to test it, everytime it worked.)
