Thank you for your comments. I fixed these points and uploaded the script to http://pmwiki.org/wiki/Cookbook/BlogItRSS. I also created a link from BlogIt to BlogItRSS. Please have a look if everything is alright.
Let me know when you integrated the script into BlogIt. I can then delete the cookbook again.
