But I think that nowadays the only time that [[<<]] is used
is to skip below any floating elements. Perhaps a wikistyle
would serve the same purpose-- i.e. %clear% would cause the
current block to appear below any floating content?
%rfloat% Attach:floatingimage.jpg
This text appears to the left
of the floating image.
%clear% This text appears below the floating image.
As long as %clear% will 'work' without any text following it. For
example, <!--PageText--> followed by a footer that depends on the clear/
[[<<]] in the pages where required. I know it can be done in other ways
(e.g. <div style='clear:both;'><div>, say), but [[<<]] has its uses.
Maybe %clear% should also be used for forcing (or suggesting?) a page
break? Sometimes I print wiki pages, and I often get orphans etc. In
those cases it'd be nice to be able to force a page break a bit earlier in
the page.
