The webfeeds recipe suggests using $FmtPV['$MarkupExcerpt'] = 'substr($page["text"], 0, 200)';
then use $MarkupExcerpt in the RSS description $FeedFmt['rss']['item']['description'] = '$MarkupExcerpt'; This does not seem to work for the latest stable release. Is there another way?
