I tried to update csshover.htc from
http://www.xs4all.nl/~peterned/csshover.html#changes, but it did not help. I
will also check to see whether I can use other menus instead.

I discovered the same problems yesterday, in front of a client. I
think the problems arise from changes made to the way IE7 handles
CSS.
A section of Stu Nichol's CSSplay Website,
http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/index.html, has dozens of working
drop-down menus. I think I am going to have to spend today
adapting one of his demonstrations to work under PmWiki -- unless
anyone else has done all the hard work?
