Lukasz,
great if pmwiki-mode will support it. I will be quite happy with emacs
3-way merge functionality. But keep in mind that my wiki installations
(both online server and offline local copies of it) require read/write
password authentication. I tried pmwiki-mode in the past and could not
get passed the password prompt.
But I will happily reinstall pmwiki-mode and will be a willing "genie
pig" to test and debug new emerge functionality.

I can testify that Lukasz has improved pmwiki-mode quite a bit. Depending on what kind of password authentification you use, it might already work. It certainly works better with normal pmwiki authentification - I only needed Apache BA at the time, so I didn't implement anything more. One thing that doesn't work properly (yet) is authentification over SSL.

So I suggest you give the CVS version a try, and just report any bugs you come across to Lukasz or me.

cheers

PS. Lukasz is primarily developeing for the coming Emacs 22, so some features might currently not work as well as they should with Emacs 21. Similarly, there's not much testing with XEmacs going on, it'll have to come later on.
