Folks: I'd like to use pmwiki to track birthdays, anniversaries, etc. I also would like to use pmwiki to track contacts (especially friends and families). Somehow I would like to be keep all the information for a person in one place.
I see there is a FoxContacts recipe that can track people (and could be easily expanded to include a birthday, anniversary, etc.); then this information is available as a page text variable. Also, there are calendar recipes, in particular, PmCalendar and WikiCalendar. But these require separate date pages (at least PmCalendar does; I've not looked at WikiCalendar as closely). Anyone have a suggestion on how I could get a calendar that efficiently constructs entries from page text variables of pages in a Contacts (or People) group? Or some other approach that is efficient and will be flexible enough to allow me to correct dates I've entered, without having to remember to also correct the corresponding calendar pages? -- R.
