FFE is looking more compact, so it may be more edit friendly. With FFE markup one can specify a unique display template per post. I like this as it gives the possibility of using a different display template for the first post than for all the others. For a forum this is actually not really important, but when making the forum into a blogging tool it is very important. I have not explored an alternative when using the (:include ...:) markup for this. It may simply be necessary to have a separate (:include ..:) for the first (blog) post, and use pagelist with a special fmt=include for the comment posts. Should be doable, but changes things a little, especially for the breakpage feature and the count. I know I can wrap ForumX up with using FFE, as I did for FoxForum. ~Hans _______________________________________________ pmwiki-users mailing list [email protected] http://www.pmichaud.com/mailman/listinfo/pmwiki-users
