The documentation regarding Uploads (http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/PmWiki/Uploads) states "Replace a file by simply uploading a new version of the file with the same name."
How can I avoid overwriting existing attachments? Ideally, I'd like an error along the lines of "An attachment called "screenshot1.jpeg" already exists. Please rename your attachment with a unique filename." I'm aware of $EnableUploadVersions=1 but this is not the functionality I require. I want existing attachments to be left alone unless they are being deliberately overwritten (a rarity for us). I have asked previously about per page attachments and I suppose this is an extension of that question.
