Are you performing an actual search (i.e., with search terms), or
simply getting a list of pages somehow?

If you're doing an actual search, then the old page shouldn't be
appearing unless it actually has the search term(s) in its text
somewhere. So, that seems a little odd.

The RenamePage recipe is fairly old and doesn't cause the
.pageindex file to be updated with the information about the
newly renamed pages. You might try removing the .pageindex
file from wiki.d/ and see if that resolves the problem.
(But really, it shouldn't be a problem.)

Do you have any caching enabled on the site?

Is there a url we can look at?
